Argentine Q3 biodiesel exports slip 30% due to US anti-dumping duties November 29, 2017 | Meghan Sapp In Argentina, biodiesel exports fell during 30% during Q3 to 353,034 metric tons on the back of US anti-dumping tariffs that quickly saw biodiesel diverted to other markets. Up until Q3, biodiesel exports had been up 26% on the year at 741,485 tons but the anti-dumping tariffs of up to 72% were announced in late August. The country has tried to negotiate a floor price for the US market in an attempt to lift the anti-dumping duties but so far no agreement has been reached that satisfies the US industry’s demands.
